Astronomy in Ancient Egypt
Astronomy was important to ancient Egyptians as there were regular sky observers. They built monuments for certain astronomical orientation. We know that Egyptians had a polythetic religion. They could see specific gods in the constellations. They also built some huge temples and pyramids for particular astronomical orientations. There astronomy and both religious and practical purposes.
